2008 has been another bumper year for national and local lunacy. Just ask yourself what $80K will buy in 2008? Fort Collins got branded with a new logo, Eliot Spitzer got screwed for $80K, and have you filled an SUV with gas lately? $80K! Screwed by big oil companies again!
And while we’re on the subject, there’s a pregnant man out there whose hapless offspring will someday have to sort out what to buy for Mother's Day.
While Coloradoans were going green, saving the Poudre, and battling uranium in-situ, all those endless campaign debates contributed enough hot air to prove that Global Warming is caused by humans... well, politicians anyway.
And while we're on the subject, our mountains are going brown from pine bark beetles. If only we could get the Cananda geese to eat them!
The trains still crawl through town, orange cones keep traffic at the same speed, and home sales are even slower. And while we’re on the subject of speed, or lack of, maybe the plans to redevelop the Foothills Mall are really the city's strategy to reduce our carbon footprint by shutting it all down!
Come to the Mostlies' Parody Tonight "No City for Old Logos" where more than three unrelated people can sit together and laugh it all off.
